PKA Theme & Objective for 2009/2010 :

THEME:

Choose LIFE

Psalm 119:37

“Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things, and give me LIFE in your ways.”(ESV)

“It is a challenge to acknowledge the lordship of Christ in every aspects of our lives so we would make conscious decisions to choose life beginning with growing our personal life, building life together as an authentic community & impacting the lives of others.”

OBJECTIVE :

Building an authentic community through accountability.

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on towards love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another- and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”    Heb 10:24-25

“And we urge you, brothers, warn those who are idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, be patient with everyone. Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else.”  1 Thess 5:14-15

Persistently seeking God by studying & applying God’s word in our lives.

“So that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God.”       Colosions 1:10

Be strong and courageous, reaching out to all with a sense of urgency by being a living testimony.

“But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear what they fear, do not be frightened.” But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.”   1 Peter 3:14-15
